As ever we’re working hard to try and maintain the best possible customer service experience, whilst following government and international guidance. First and foremost, our thoughts are with anyone affected and their respective families.
Suspension of Operations with Immediate Effect
In accordance with the UK and Indian Government instructions which came into effect at Midnight on Tuesday 24th March 2020, we have suspended all of our ‘coronavirus non-critical’ on-site operations for a 3-week (21 day) period. We have locked our factories to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Our team will be working from their home office during this period and are available to assist you administratively wherever possible.
Unfortunately, our on-site teams are unable to travel or attend site due to the UK and Indian lock-down restrictions now in place.
We are available to assist and deploy our on-site team to any ‘coronavirus critical-service’ clients such as hospitals, schools and associated critical support facilities should the need arise. We will endeavour to support these frontline coronavirus flighting services wherever possible.
Many of our customers operate in the Pharmaceutical sector and manufacture critical, life saving drugs. Our emergency services will be active in this lockdown period to support such clients and reduce the criticality in the production of the drugs.
The safety of our employees and clients employees is our number one priority.
Firstly, if any of our on-site engineers have been asked to attend a coronavirus critical site but are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of the disease, such as headache, fever, cough or sore throat, they have been instructed to report such to their manager and not visit the client. Their manager will organise a replacement engineer to call to the site. Please bare with us while such is arranged.
If any of our on-site service team attend such site, they will strictly follow the site protocol and assist in supporting the countries effects to combat the virus.
Lastly, for the foreseeable future, please note that you will always receive a warm welcome from the Standard Group team, however for the time being, please note that we won’t be greeting you with a traditional handshake.
We will be strictly observing the social distancing policy set out by the UK and Indian Government and hence will mitigate all personal contact as this is an effective method to prevent the spread of the virus which I’m sure you’ll understand.
Thank you for your support. Let’s keep looking out for each other and all keep healthy and safe.
The last decade saw incredible sales and business growth for the Standard Group of Companies.
The key highlight for Stanseals was the successful development of their 10,000sqft manufacturing facility and the purchase of several multi-axis CNC machine tools.
From everyone at Stanseals and the Standard Group of Companies, we wish you and your family a happy, healthy and prosperous 2020 New Year.
Lets hope that the next decade will see more of this continued Standard success.
